Does anyone have any ideas on how to get a child to use hands to slide back on a toilet? Likewise, to push off on a slide to go down? Child is in severely cognitively impaired. Do you find this valuable?

Good morning: I am get more people to join this wiki.. so we can get people to answer you posts. Right now it is just 4 of us. Some school districts' filters are blocking it. Please be patient and don't lose hope that we will get this communication device working. Wish I had an idea for you on the toileting. Do you find this valuable?

I don't know if this will help or not, but this looked like a good website. http://thepottybootcamp.blogspot.com
Good luck. Another thought: would baby powdering his/her hands help? Probably a dumb idea.

I don't have any great ideas, and maybe you've already done this, but I was thinking that whenever I am out of ideas our PT and OT always have some new ones. And maybe since they are a little more removed from the situation, they always seem to have a fresh view of it too. Good luck! Do you find this valuable?
